Tahooo!
“Tahooo!” is inspired by the Lady Justice statue, wherein the blindfold and scales tell us that law is fair, and impartial regardless of wealth, power, an/or socioeconomic status in life. And that everyone has the right to a fair trial.
In this case, the taho vendor is an allegory of the working class, deceived to believe that they live in a just, equal, and equitable society.
The blindfold is a symbol of the deception or the ignorance of the working class to the reality happening around him, and the scales [or the taho containers] are burdens that he has to carry everyday.
This leaves us with a question: "Ang hustisya ba ay pantay pa, o patay na?"
